Each display case is made using a shadow box (think of a picture frame with a thin, clear layer of plastic on either side to help keep the contents in place) with a display sheet glued in place and features five STUNNING examples some of Bone Valley’s most iconic species: a lemon, a hemipristis, a megalodon, a tiger, and a bull, all in the various shades of blue, yellow, orange, tan, white, green, etc. that this region are known for. Each tooth is hand selected to ensure a broad representation of these colors, and while every tooth is completely flawless (though many are!), each one has a ton of character.
The back of each display features a rundown on the Bone Valley region and what makes it so special and a map of where its found.
*Though I secure each tooth in place with a dab of Gorilla Glue museum grade putty, some shifting may occur during shipping. To adjust, simply find the bottom of the case and push in where it says “push” while tugging gently on the other side. The putty used will not damage the fossils and is reusable.
